कथा उपनिषद प्राथमिक उपनिषदों में से एक है, ग्रंथों की एक शैली जो हिंदू धर्म के वेदांत (वेदों के अंत) के मूल दर्शन का निर्माण करती है। यह यजुर्वेद का एक हिस्सा है और इसे सबसे व्यापक रूप से पढ़े जाने वाले उपनिषदों में से एक माना जाता है। पाठ संस्कृत में लिखा गया है और दो अध्यायों में विभाजित है, प्रत्येक में कई खंड हैं।
