In Kaliyuga, Siddhi cannot be achieved without adopting the path of Agama, also, Agama is universal, whereas Nigam Traivarnik mentions that Vedic ethics are valid in Satyayuga, Smrityupadishta conduct, Tretayuga, and Puranic conduct in Dwaparayuga and Agamoktya in Kaliyuga.

, 1 The person who goes to any place for chanting, first of all pray to the protector of that area that I will stay in this place for so long, give permission till then, and if there is any kind of prefix, then Nivariyo- Because, whenever our Jain monks stay in some place, then their protector tells the deity that you will stay in your place for so many days and have a feeling of forgiveness. For this reason, the householders must take permission from the protector god as above.

, 2 || When you go to perform the mantra, then as far as possible, prove the mantra in such a place where there is no movement of human beings, such as your Jain pilgrimage, Magi Tungjo, Siddha, on the banks of the river Reva or Sonagiriji or those who own their Jain pilgrimages alone. Whether you are in a place, or in the houses of Vagocho, in the hills and on the banks of the river or in the uninhabited place, one should go to prove the mantra in such places. When you enter that place, stay there, then by mind, word, body, the protector of that place, the deity or Yaksha etc., should utter humility with the mouth that O the protector of this place, I, for the accomplishment of this task. I have come to live in your place, have taken shelter of your protection, for so many days I have come to stay in your place, have taken shelter of your protection, please grant me wisdom to stay for so many days. If any kind of trouble, disturbance or fear comes upon me, then redress it.

मन्त्र साधन की विधि

॥ १ ॥ जो पुरुष मन्त्र साधन के लिए जिस किसी स्थान मे जावे, प्रथम उस क्षेत्र के रक्षक देव से प्रार्थना करे कि मैं इस स्थान में, इतने काल तक ठहरू गा, तब तक के लिए आज्ञा प्रदान करो, और किसी प्रकार का उपसर्ग होवे तो निवारियो-क्योकि, हमारे जैन मुनि भी जब कही किसी स्थान मे जाकर ठहरते हैं तो उसके रक्षक देव को कहते हैं कि इतने दिन तक तेरे स्थान मे ठहरेगे तू क्षमा भाव रखियो । इस वारते गृहस्थियो को अवश्य ही उपरोक्तानुसार रक्षक देव से आज्ञा लेनी चाहिये ।

|| २ || जव मन्त्र साधन करने के वास्ते जावो तब जहाँ तक हो ऐसे स्थान मे मन्त्र सिद्ध करो जहाँ मनुष्यो का गमनागमन न हो जैसे अपने जैन तीर्थ, मागी तुङ्गोजो, सिद्ध ,रेवा नदी के तट पर या सोनागिरीजी या और जो अपने जैन तीर्थ एकान्त वर कूट, स्थान में हैं, या वगोचो के मकानो मे, पहाडो मे तथा नदी के किनारे पर या निर्जन स्थान मे, ऐसे स्थानो मे मन्त्र सिद्ध करने को जाना चाहिये। जब उस स्थान मे प्रवेश करो, वहाँ ठहरो तो मन, वचन, काय से उस स्थान का जो रक्षक देव या यक्ष आदि है उसका योग्य विनय मुख से यह उच्चारण करे कि हे इस स्थान के रक्षक देव मैं, अपने इस कार्य की सिद्धि के वास्ते तेरे स्थान में रहने के लिये आया हूँ तेरी रक्षा का आश्रय लिया है, इतने दिनो तक मैं तेरे स्थान में रहने के लिये आया हूँ, तेरी रक्षा का आश्रय लिया है, इतने दिनो तक निवास के लिये प्रज्ञा प्रदान कीजिये । अगर मेरे ऊपर किसी तरह का सकट, उपद्रव या भय आवे तो उसे निवारण कीजिये |

वाम मार्ग का आधार यह है- "दूसरे प्राणियों के शरीरों में निवास करने वाली शक्ति को इधर से उधर हस्तांतरित करके एक जगह विशेष मात्रा में शक्ति संचित कर ली जाए और उस शक्ति का मनमाना उपयोग किया जाए।"

तांत्रिक साधनाओं की कार्यपद्धति इसी आधार पर चलती है।
