किसी भी साधना का उद्देश्य चाहे वह योग का हो या तंत्र का, सभी साधना के मूल में है मन और आत्मा की साधना। यह साधना वस्तुपरक जगत से आत्मपरक जगत की ओर जाती है। जब साधक वस्तुपरक सत्ता का अतिक्रमण कर आत्मपरक सत्ता में प्रवेश करता है तो तमाम अविश्वसनीय घटनायें घटने लगती हैं। जिसे हम चमत्कार कह कर टाल देते हैं।
